Back to School Math Madness

TIP: Back to School Math Madness Keep your children busy, build math skills, and have them earn all the money you're about to spend on them! Gather those back to school ads and let your child calculate the bill! Make it as easy or as challenging as you need to. Challenge them by saying, "Only correct answers gets the item." ๐Ÿ˜‚ Here are some sample questions to get you started: 1. We need 2 boxes of crayons, 1 pair of scissors, and a backpack. What's the total cost for those items? Extend by asking how much change you'll receive if $_____ is given to cashier. 2. Your supply list said you need 3-24 pk of pencils. How many total pencils will you have? 3. Glue sticks, markers, and a calculator cost about $34. You make $12 a month in allowance. How long will it take you to buy the items on the list yourself? You get my drift?? Have fun learning, guys! #BestStartMonday
